Agreement

By using regnumtax.com or the Regnum Tax client portal, you agree to these terms. The specific terms of any service we perform for you are set out in your engagement letter or order, which governs if it differs from these terms.

Estimates and prices

Prices shown by our online estimators are estimates. We confirm your final price before we begin work. Government filing fees are passed through at cost and may change without notice. One-time fees are not discounted.

Bookkeeping software

Regnum Tax performs bookkeeping exclusively in QuickBooks Online. Your business keeps its own QuickBooks Online subscription, billed to you by Intuit. If your books are in QuickBooks Desktop or other software when you sign up, you agree to have them converted to QuickBooks Online; the flat conversion fee shown at sign-up is charged with your first payment. We never ask for your QuickBooks password. You grant us access by inviting our firm as your accountant from inside QuickBooks Online, and you can remove that access at any time.

Company formation

We prepare and file formation documents based on the information you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy. Filing times and approvals are controlled by the state. Rush filing uses the state's expedited service where one is offered, and we cannot guarantee state processing times or approval. If the state requires corrections, processing can take longer. We do not provide registered agent service. Our formation service does not include legal advice.

Your account

Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity in your account. Give us accurate information and tell us promptly if anything changes. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Clover. Formation fees are due before we file. Government fees are non-refundable once submitted to the agency. If you cancel before we file, we refund our fee less any work already performed.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website or portal, including by attempting to access other clients' information, interfering with the site's operation, or uploading harmful files.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Regnum Tax is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website or portal, and our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the fees you paid for that service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its date.
